Whatcha got Cookin?
Although Tyra was fed via g-tube she stayed in the mix of things.
Helping out to make cookies for Santa.
She managed to stay off the Naughty list by resisting the urge to use the rolling pin as a weapon.
Ya better watch out!
During her Elementary school years, Tyra was always the designated MIXER. She used her adaptive switches to help make; Pancakes for a Pig, Muffins for a Moose, and of course Cookies for a Mouse. We loved that series of books. Tyra reveled in her role and the power she had.
Tyra provided signature Holiday treats for her classroom parties. She blended a mean Shamrock Shake for St. Patricks Day.
She was my right hand during grocery trips. Tyra helped me mark items of the list, picked out the most colorful produce and of course...
She encouraged my ice cream addiction. Tyra would squeal and tease as I talked to each frozen delight. I'd pick them up, check out the calories, put it down, talk a bit, and repeat the process.
She made the sweet stuff even SWEETER.
